Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. In her secondary educationWard attended Ouachita Parish High School, but she moved to River Oaks High School on the summer after her junior year; thereshe was part of the drill and dance team. She was also a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after the completion of her degree. When she was thirteen years old, Ward started modeling after leaving the school and relocating to New York in order to do so. In the years following, she also decided to take up acting. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited part in 1970's soap drama All My Children, and later was cast in the lead in a drama for teens on NBC Premier-Time Malibu Shores. In the year 1996, Ward was cast in the role of Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. In 1999she began to pursue an acting career in the film industry, starring as her neurotic Brittany Foster in the erotic thriller The In Crowd. It was not a big success in cinemas however it did very well with home-video and cable. The following year Ward was in a cameo character in the movie Shallow Hal. Other credits for her acting include numerous direct-to-DVD films and appearances in television shows, including Friends. She was the main part of the cast of ABC Family's drama series Make It or Break It for the first two seasons of 2009. She appeared on the show in 2009 and was cast in the part Chloe Kmet as the mother of a gymna who is a teenager. She married David C. Robinson, who was a producer. The couple was blessed with a baby named Cameron.
